FAMILY RECORD SHEET
by
D. W. Sampson
COMMODORE MICROCOMPUTERS MAGAZINE
May/June, 1986
p.58
If you have an interest in tracing
your family history, you may have had
a problem with organizing the
information you find. FAMILY RECORD
SHEET will help organize your data by
printing out a handy two-page form
that has plenty of space to write
information under headings like DATE
OF BIRTH and PLACE OF DEATH.
To use this program, you must first
have your printer up and ready to run.
You then press "P" and then RETURN to
begin the program.
The program will then list a label,
NAME. If you are making a permanent
record of information you have
already gathered, type in the name
and press RETURN. If you are
interested only in making a blank
form, press RETURN. According to
your goals, respond to other prompts
in the same way.
The information will go straight to
your printer as soon as you press
RETURN. When you get to the section
about your subject's children, you
will be prompted to press RUN-STOP/
RESTORE combination to end the
program. Typing in RUN and pressing
RETURN will restart the program.
NOTE: FAMILY RECORD SHEET was
designed specifically for the
Commodore 1526 and MPS-802 printers.
If you have a different printer, you
may need to alter the program. Consult
your printer manual.
